Memoirs of Jimmy

The the month of April 2013 I went for an interview. I got the job, actually an internship. I was happy and when I returned home I met Jimmy as always. He was excited like always and even this time I played with him for a while till Hak came down from his apartment. Then  later we went home. From the next day, I got busy. I use to leave home in the morning and return back at late night. I never saw Jimmy after that. I thought, he must be somewhere in the housing society. Some days passed, I hadn't seen Jimmy ever since. I asked my Dad if he saw Jimmy as Jimmy use to ask for food everyday. My Dad said, he hasn't seen him and Jimmy didn't came to him for food. This was unusual. Later, one day I really thought where did it go? Then my mother showed me, that Jimmy was still there. Jimmy was near the 14th no. building. That was the last time I saw him. After that he disappeared. One week after my job interview night, me and Hak searched for him everywhere in Mulund East. But we ...

Hinduism: Mythologies, Philosophies and Science

Hinduism is one of the oldest surviving religion of the planet along with Judaism and Zoroastrianism. It was started in somewhat 1500 BC. Basically it believes in "Karma" which means one's deeds affects his outcome. If a person do something good, good things happen with him, if he does something bad, bad things will happen to him. It believes in "Reincarnation"; It believes the body is mortal but the soul is immortal. The soul changes bodies just like a human being changes his clothes everyday. As per a person's Karma he gets his next incarnation. Apart from this basic belief, Hinduism is considered to be a polytheistic religion. There are over 20 millions gods and goddesses in this religion. But Hinduism is very misinterpreted religion. There are three aspects of Hinduism: Mythologies, Philosophies and Science. Hindu Mythology: Mythologies are stories about the gods and goddess, how they came into existence and what happened in the ancient world a...

Jimmy 3 Mayhem

The previous post [ http://lafoo10.blogspot.in/2012/05/uncertain-future-of-jimmy-retard-dog.html ] had predicted the problems which would occur in this year’s monsoon. It became a reality as Jimmy – the retarded dog’s mayhem continues. Jimmy has become very healthy thanks to my family and Hak’s family. We all offer him food once every day. Initially my Dad was against giving food to him, but eventually he became the first to feed him in the morning. In the morning Jimmy use to stand in front of the window and made “Aaauuu! Aaau! Woof!” sound which means, I am hungry, feed me. “Woof!!!” means “Food!!!”  “Bhav-Bhav” means he is calling. “Rarrr!” means getting aggressive. I learnt a little bit of Jimmian language. Just like a pet Jimmy was kind to us and use to play with us, mostly with Hak. He use to follow us to the gate of Mukand and use to welcome us when we return back.  Hak and his mom use to feed him rice & milk occasionally, Parle G biscuits daily. In the morning my m...

Uncertain Future of "Jimmy" - The Retard Dog

More on this retard dog. Those who have not read the introduction post about him, here's the link:  http://lafoo10.blogspot.in/2012/03/jimmy-retarded-dog.html Jimmy now lives outside 16 no. building of Mukand Society i.e. my building. He sits & sleeps near the gate of the building. If someone wants to pass by then he gets up and makes way for them. His daily chores includes getting up early in the morning, going to Hak's home on the 3rd floor by climbing the stairs. He knows when Hak's dad leaves for work so at exact time he goes up and waits there. Hak provides him with breakfast. Then he climbs down and plays with a rubber ball which he hides under the ground. After playing with it he keeps it back. All the day he roams around in the IV phase of the society. His friends from Shanti Apartment often pay him a visit. He plays with them. Sometimes just like Hak, even I give him non veg food left outs. Even I don't he tries to grab it when I am sent to throw it in the ...

Jimmy: The Retarded Dog

From the makers of "Turtle Tubby" brings you "Jimmy- the Retarded Dog" After Hak bought a turtle and named it Tubby because it uses to live in a tub. Now it doesn't live in a tub because according to Hak Tubby catches cold if it is kept inside water. Yeah... I know but it might be a fact.  Hak treats the turtle like his new born baby. After all this... a new character has been introduced by the God in real life Empty Can. A stray dog. This stray dog isn't an adult, it must be in its doggy teenage. According to my theory it uses to belong to the slum besides Mukand Society who migrated to Mukand but couldn't go back as "The Great Wall of Mukand" has been built between the slum & Mukand Society. So the dog made Mukand phase IV its home. It was starving to death. Although a stray dog it had characteristics like a pet dog. It had a red band on its neck which means it must have been someone's temporary pet. It was standing on 2 feet, barking...

Indian Mythical Creatures II

My earlier post “ Indian Mythical Creatures ” stated the similarities between the mythical beings of India and that of the western countries. Now I have found more similarities. These mythical beings are very commonly seen but we ignore them. Hollywood filmmakers still use these creatures in movies and hence they are part of the Popular Culture just like ware-wolf and vampires and witches. These are Griffin, Sphinx, dragons etc. They also had Indian counterparts as well. But as we have not preserved and presented them in movies properly these creatures and unknown. The European creatures and their Indian counterparts are as follows: Indian Griffin Griffin(European):- Griffins are partly eagle and partly lion with body of lion but wings and head of an eagle. These creatures were and still are used in emblems, coat of arms of European countries and also in stories and movies like Harry Potter series. Sharabha [ शरभ ]:-   This Indian counterpart of Griffin is mentioned in the Hi...
